Courses and Modules offered:
1. International A1 Level
Original books and Audio included.
Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences, which relate to the satisfying of concrete needs. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves – e.g. where they live, whom they know, and what they own – and can respond to questions of this nature. Can communicate simply if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help. The learning objectives are achieved in a step-by-step process through an inductive and communicative teaching approach that addresses the complete spectrum of language abilities. Exercises become progressively more complex and generally train specific abilities like listening comprehension, speaking, reading comprehension, or writing. Classroom activities include individual and group work and are complemented by compulsory homework exercises. Written tests are conducted at the end of each thematic unit.
2. International A2 Level
Original books and Audio included.
Can understand sentences and commonly used expressions associated with topics directly related to his/her direct circumstances (e.g. personal information or information about his/her family, shopping, work, immediate surroundings). Can make him/herself understood in simple, routine situations dealing with a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics. Can describe his/her background and education, immediate surroundings, and other things associated with immediate needs simply. The learning objectives are achieved by addressing and testing reading, listening, writing and grammar skills in a balanced approach. Reading and listening comprehension exercises focus on comparing and judging information, and writing skills by formulating letters, e-mails, and visual descriptions, all of which will be revised and discussed with the students. Brief dialogues are conducted to practice students’ speaking skills. Classroom activities include individual and group work and are complemented by compulsory homework exercises. Written tests are conducted at the end of each thematic unit.
3. International B1 Level

Can understand the main points when clear, standard language is used and the focus is on familiar topics associated with work, school, leisure time, etc. Can deal with most situations typically encountered when traveling in the language region. Can express him/herself simply and coherently regarding familiar topics and areas of personal interest. Can report on experiences and events, describe dreams, hopes and goals, and make short statements to justify or explain his/her views and plans. The learning objectives are achieved by addressing and testing reading, listening, writing and grammar skills in a balanced approach. Reading and listening comprehension exercises focus on comparing and assessing information, while writing skills are improved by writing letters, e-mails, and visual descriptions. Brief dialogues are conducted to practice students’ speaking skills. Classroom activities include individual and group work and are complemented by compulsory homework exercises. Written tests are conducted at the end of each thematic unit.
German language course
1. German Beginner

The beginner’s Course is intended for students with no previous knowledge of the German language. By the end of the course, students will be able to employ simple sentences and expressions when dealing with various situations in daily life (at the supermarket, in public offices, at the office) and especially when expressing wishes and attending to personal needs. Furthermore, they can talk about themselves and their areas of study and ask others about personal details, work, and interests. The learning objectives are achieved in a step-by-step process through an inductive and communicative teaching approach that addresses the complete spectrum of language abilities. Exercises become progressively more complex and generally train specific abilities like listening comprehension, speaking, reading comprehension, or writing. Classroom activities include individual and group work and are complemented by compulsory homework exercises. Written tests are conducted at the end of each thematic unit.
2. German Intermediate

The intermediate Course is intended for students who already have some knowledge of the German language. In this course, previous knowledge will first be revised and consolidated, then deepened and expanded by the level of the participants. By the end of the course, students will be able to

-describe their immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need
- present biographical details
-explanations for their plans, hopes, and aims

3. German Advanced

This course concentrates on expanding reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills while revising and deepening more advanced aspects of German grammar. Topics include language and learning, family, travel, leisure time, media, careers, and social contacts. Students will write personal and official letters and e-mails, describe images and situations, and practice everyday forms of communication.
By the end of the course, students will be able to

· engage in and understand everyday discussions
· communicate in simple and routine situations by email and phone· understand more complex forms of information
· express and defend their personal opinions

CEFR Levels and Proficiency
The language classes for German, French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, and Russian have been developed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, abbreviated as CEFR.
Russian Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Russian-Basics
This basic course is designed for those who start learning Russian and would like to study the basics of this language.
The lessons of this course will help you to learn basic vocabulary and grammar, fine-tune your pronunciation and get essential language skills in Russian. Apart from spoken language cursive writing is also included as it is a very important element in learning the Russian language.

2.Russian-Intermediate Level
This course of Russian lessons are for those of you who already have the basics of Russian and would like to learn more. After completing this level one can be pretty confident in starting a conversation in Russian with anybody and understanding the basics. At this stage, one can write and read confidently.

3.Russian-Advanced level
This course of Russian lessons is designed for advanced students,those who already speak Russian and want to improve their language and conversational skills. The language skills acquired will permit the learner to communicate with more confidence in Russian thus mastering it with ease in conversations with native speakers in any Russian-speaking country.

Spanish Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Beginners
For this course no prior requirements of the language are necessary. From the very first day of the course, you will begin to speak in Spanish and as the course progresses, you will learn to express needs, understand and utilize everyday expressions that are frequently used, as well as simple sentences.

2.Intermediate
In order to take your Spanish to the next level, we will cover some of the topics from the Beginner Level in more detail as well as introduce you to some common areas that students of Spanish find difficult. At this stage, you can confidently introduce yourself and talk about important day-to-day life topics.

3. Advanced
This level is for those who understand Spanish and would like to practice with some more advanced material. After completing this module our learners are able to communicate and express themselves easily in an environment of immediate importance in any Spanish-speaking country.

French Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Basic
Expected outcomes at the skill level:
Listening: Ability to recognize high-frequency / highly contextualized words. Announcements at the station (or the airport), greetings, limited small talk.
Reading: Ability to understand basic straightforward structures supported by context; familiar content in the present tense. They can understand street signs, business cards, road maps, simple facebook statuses/Twitter messages, text messages, and simple weather reports.
Speaking: They use isolated words, and memorized phrases limited by context (only things learned in class); for example, they can introduce themselves and others, talk about their likes and dislikes, and ask for and give simple directions.
Writing: they are able to reproduce from memory sentences and phrases in context; they can supply information on simple forms and documents: ID forms, fill out an RSVP to an invitation, and write a short post-it note.
Culture: greetings, formal/informal address, simple polite phrases.
Strategies: Oral comprehension and reading: how to recognize keywords (and cognates) and use them to deduce what was said; speaking: key expressions (or phrases) to know how to ask for help/ express a basic need

2. Intermediate
Expected outcomes at the skill level:
Listening: Students are able to understand information from basic complete sentences in highly contextualized situations, dealing with practical needs. Short ads, identify French city names, and some parts of basic conversations on familiar topics.
Reading: They can understand keywords, cognates, and phrases in a highly contextualized text; they can understand short sentences using basic grammatical structures in present tense or near future; they can recognize past tense; they can comprehend emails, notes, short ads, invitations, postcards, menus.
Speaking: Students are able to answer and ask simple, direct questions. They can talk about predictable topics: their schedule, and their meals, and they can describe themselves and others.
Writing: They can express themselves about common elements of daily life. They can write lists, short messages, postcards, emails, and text messages.
Culture: being familiar with the location of major cities in France, being able to name some francophone countries and some elements of French gastronomy.
Strategies: Oral comprehension/reading: identify question words and know how to begin their answers, how to scan a text for information; speaking: how to formulate simple questions and answer them; how to show what they know.

3. Advanced
Expected outcomes at the skill level:
Listening: The ability to understand some information about familiar topics connected to concrete needs; basic conversations, movie clips, and songs.
Reading: The ability to understand and scan for information from simple connected texts; letters, emails, short news articles, CVs.S
Speaking: The ability to talk about basic personal information; exchanges are limited to predictable topics, including self and family, and daily activities. They can make simple purchases.
Writing: The ability to write short texts describing personal interests, daily activities, projects; simple poems.
Culture: Knowing the main rivers, mountains, and cities in France
Strategies: Oral comprehension/reading: identifying the structure of a text (connectors).

Italian Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary Italian
Using the communicative approach, this course stresses the fundamentals of pronunciation, grammar, practical vocabulary, useful phrases, and the ability to understand, speak, read, and write simple Italian. Students practice speaking and holding simple conversations in class and writing compositions using fundamental sentence structures in the present and past tenses.
2. Intermediate Italian
This course provides an opportunity to acquire intermediate fluency in spoken Italian with an emphasis on natural, colloquial usage. New vocabulary and idiomatic phrases will be emphasized, and the students will hold conversations in Italian during each class.
3. Advanced Italian
In Advanced Italian, we will expand and consolidate your ability to comprehend Italian in a variety of social situations and refine your understanding and appreciation of both history and contemporary culture.
Persian Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary
This is the beginners' course in Persian that will introduce you to speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the standard means of communication. The course is proficiency-based, implying that all activities within the course are aimed at placing you, the learner, in the context of the native-speaking environment from the very beginning. Evaluation is done by the more traditional testing methods (vocabulary tests, dictations, grammar, and translation exercises).
2. Intermediate
This is the continuation of the Elementary course in Persian. This course is also proficiency-based, implying that all activities within the course are aimed at placing you, the learner, in the context of the native-speaking environment from the very beginning. Evaluation is done by the more traditional testing methods (vocabulary tests, grammar, and translation exercises).
3. Advanced
This is a proficiency-based course that continues from the intermediate course. Emphasis continues to be on all four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, & Writing. Students will be expected to give classroom presentations and write short essays in Persian. Evaluation will be both Achievement- and proficiency-based. The test of speaking ability will consist of the Oral Proficiency Interview.
Japanese Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary Japanese
This course is designed to introduce students to the everyday language of Japan. Lessons will be organized around natural conversational topics, leading students from fundamental aspects of grammar to readings in simple texts. Students will learn vocabulary, expressions, and sentence structures to become able to meet basic communication needs in Japanese. All four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) will be incorporated, and accurate and appropriate language use will be emphasized.

2. Intermediate Japanese
This course aims to further develop language skills and increase familiarity with Japanese society. The emphasis is on accurate communication in Japanese, both spoken and written, that is appropriate to the given context. The course is designed to complete the introduction and practice of basic grammar in Japanese. More authentic language material will be introduced.

3. Advanced Japanese
This course is designed to develop fluency in spoken Japanese as well as enhance writing skills. Cross-cultural awareness will be emphasized and close attention will be paid to developing sophisticated expressions and nuances in the language.

Chinese Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary Chinese
Open to students with no or little training in Chinese. Designed to develop and reinforce language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing as it relates to everyday life situations. The objectives are: to master the Chinese phonetic system (pinyin and tones) with satisfactory pronunciation; to understand the construction of commonly used Chinese Characters (both simplified and traditional) and learn to write them correctly; to understand and use correctly basic Chinese grammar and sentences structures; to build up essential vocabulary; to read and write level-appropriate passages; to become acquainted with aspects of Chinese culture and society related to the course materials.

2. Intermediate Chinese
Designed to consolidate the student's overall aural-oral proficiency. Focuses gradually on the written aspect of Chinese. The objectives are: to be able to obtain information from the extended conversation; to both express and expound on, in relative length, feelings and opinions on common topics; to expand vocabulary and learn to decipher the meaning of compound words; to develop reading comprehension of extended narrative, expository and simple argumentative passages; to solve non-complex textual problems with the aid of dictionaries; to write in relative length personal narratives, informational narratives, comparison and discussion of viewpoints with level-appropriate vocabulary and grammatical accuracy, as well as basic syntactical cohesion; to continue being acquainted with aspects of Chinese culture and society related to the course materials.

3. Advanced Chinese
Designed to further develop proficiency in speaking and writing through readings on and discussions of socio-cultural topics relevant to today's China. Focuses on improving reading comprehension and writing skills. The objectives are: to further improve oral communicative competence by incorporating semi-formal or formal usages; to acquire vocabulary and patterns necessary for conducting semi-formal or formal discussions of socio-cultural topics; to increase the reading speed of texts with more advanced syntax; to learn to make a context-based guess about the meaning of a new word, conduct sentence analysis and solve textual problems with the aid of dictionaries; to write and present more fully developed narratives or reasoned and structured arguments in length; to learn to employ basic rhetoric methods; to learn to appreciate stylistic usage of the Chinese language.

Arabic Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary Arabic
The beginning level is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Arabic. During the first week, elementary-level students sign a modified pledge allowing them to interact with their instructor in English/Hindi while in class.
From the first day of classes, students are exposed to authentic reading and listening materials. They engage in functional activities, often in small groups, necessary to their survival in the Arab setting.
2. Intermediate Arabic
This level of study is designed for students who have had some exposure to Arabic through an academic institution, through living for a period of time in an Arab country, or through private tutoring in the language. Students in this level are exposed to authentic reading and listening materials that are of more depth and length than those used in Level 1.
3. Advanced Arabic
This level enables students at the intermediate proficiency level to further strengthen the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Modern Standard Arabic, and to understand key aspects of the Arab world and the Arab culture. The main objective of this course is to move students in a short period of time across the threshold of the high intermediate level of proficiency and provide opportunities and learning strategies toward the advanced level of proficiency.
Romanian Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Romanian Beginners
The student can understand and use familiar everyday phrases. He knows a few basic words and phrases in Romanian, he can initiate a short conversation with usual sentences. He can introduce himself in a conversation, he can interact in a simple way with other people, and he can write very short sentences.
2. Intermediate Romanian
The student understands and reads very simple texts, he can communicate in a simple way, he has basic notions of grammar, he can describe everyday life situations with basic vocabulary, and he can write usual sentences and messages.
3. Advanced Romanian
The student can make sentences in a simple way, can relate a story briefly, can communicate about familiar topics, can understand texts with a high frequency in a conversation, and can write messages and compositions describing feelings, emotions, and impressions.
Turkish Language
Courses and Modules offered:
1. Elementary Turkish
After completing the Beginners level course, you will be able to do the following in Turkish:

Korean Language
Courses and Modules offered:
Korean Beginners Intensive Course
Equivalent to: TOPIK: Level 2/ Certificate course from the University of Delhi.
The teaching material will be the same as the University of Delhi Certificate course. (Bharati Korean Basic)
Bharati Korean consists of 30 chapters and this course will cover 20 chapters nearly the same course as the University of Delhi 1 Year certificate course.
Teaching Language: Hindi/ English
Course Consists:
Korean Consonants (Single consonants, Double consonants, Final consonants, and Double Final consonants).
Vowels (Single vowels, Double vowels, Neutral vowels, Bright vowels, Dark vowels).
Word Order (Loan word, Native- Korean word, Sino- Korean order) explanations with Korean Dialogues and expressions.
Sentence Types (Declarative, Imperative & Interrogative). Accompanied by Korean expressions.
Korean Word classes (Nouns, Pronouns, Particles, Numbers, Verbs, Adjectives, Copula, Adverbs) Expressions with Dialogues.
Counters, Questions with Dialogues.
Tense (Present, Past Future) Supplemented by Korean Dialogues.
The differential Speech level, Polite Speech level accompanied by Korean expressions.
