Classes for German language taken by Ms. Aliona Varma is something that needs to be said. She covers all the 4 dimensions that are there when you want to learn any language - listening, speaking, reading and writing. Although the aforementioned 40 hours are required to be covered formally, she doesn't make it feel so. As for myself, despite completing only the 1st level, I can say with all the truth possible that I felt I was being taught as if I were a native of Germany and not as a formal student. She would try and make sure that you yourself would want to learn German, i.e., she will invoke and cultivate the desire in you instead of making you feel like you were given an additional burden. One more thing that must be mentioned is that she gives extra emphasis to pronunciation which I think is imperative given that you want to get the language right learning it for the first time. Also during the class hours, she makes many references to German culture and the similarities and differences between German and Indian culture so that she has all your attention and you will be sitting there transfixed. No superfluous materials, no out of the depth portion, everything is '; germane';......so to speak☺. All in all a really good teacher to learn the language from. Just follow her lead and you will feel Deutsch. Danke schon ma';am.

I have started my masters course from Summer Semester 2015 in RWTH Aachen. But before coming to Germany,I had taken the initiative to learn german from Aliona for 8 months.It was the one of the best preparation course,I could do have done in Mumbai.Aliona has a unique teaching method,where she is very specific about the pronounciation of the german words and the translation of the german sentences,which cannot be found in another coaching classes.She helped us with a lot of interactive and youtube videos,which kept the sessions fun as well.The most important of all ,she prepares you really well for the Goethe Institute exams.If you are coming to Germany or just planning to learn German as a hobby,she will make sure that you learn the language,which you can use in everday life in Germany.

I might not be good at writing blogs/ articles, but I think I will be able to pen down a lot of good things that happened to me while learning German with Mrs Aliona Grama. It all started with my plan to go to Germany for my higher education (Master of Business Administration). I took a demo class from 2 teachers, one was so terrible as compared to the other that I had to go with the other one, the one by Mrs Grama, which I think was the best decision. You don't just get to learn german, you learn a lot about Germany as well, since she has spent a lot of time there. She is flexible with timings and gives equal opportunity to everyone in her class to learn. I would definitely recommend everyone to join her classes. Danke sehr Frau Grama.
